How to look after your leather Reed Blakes

  1. Always leave your Reed Blake shoes to rest to get rid of any moisture before treating them.
  2. Where necessary, remove the laces from your shoes.
  3. Dust down your leather Reed Blake shoes using a brush.
  4. Wipe a slightly damp cloth over your shoes, then dry them immediately with a dry cloth.
  5. Optional: Clean your leather shoes with a cleansing milk using a soft cloth. Leave to dry for 10 minutes.
  6. Optional: Look after and recolor your shoes with a leather beauty cream.
  7. Polish your shoes using the same color of polish as the leather of your shoes. Use an applicator brush to make sure the polish is absorbed into the leather. Don’t forget the stitching on the Goodyear models as well as the leather heel and sole edge. Leave to dry for approximately 20 minutes.
  8. Once or twice a year, grease the outsoles of your Reed Blakes with colorless Reed Blake beeswax and leave them to dry for 24 hours before wearing them again.
  9. Then use a buffing brush with small, quick, light movements.
  10. Give your leather shoes a final shine by polishing them with the Reed Blake chamois cloth.”
